Business Fields

Business Fields

July 30, 20241 min read

Business fields operate similarly to custom fields but instead of collecting information for contacts, they serve as a record of information for your business.

You can set these fields by adding your business’s information in the Business Profile section of your account settings. There are three major sections in the Business Profile where you can modify and consult your business details. This information is found under Settings > Business Profile.

1. General Information and Business Physical Address

Both sections represent the main information for your business. This information should be filled out by the business administrator and should be updated in case any business information changes. Moreover, these fields could be used for automation purposes. They can be used as custom values in your marketing or workflow communications.

2. Business Information

These Fields Include:

  • Business Type

  • Business Industry

  • Business Registration ID Type

  • Business Registration Number

  • Business Regions of Operations

3. Authorize Representative

These Fields Include:

  • Authorized Representative Full Name

  • Representative Email

  • Job Position

  • Phone number

Benefits:

By having your business profile up to date with consistent business information you can prevent any discrepancies with other account-related processes such as the A2P Campaign and Brand Registration. Besides, fields such as Country or Timezone are dependent and related to internal features such as Calendars and Currency definitions.

Moe Ameen is a real estate investor, software creator, and general over-caffeinated human who somehow made automation cool (or at least tolerable). He built a cutting-edge real estate CRM because manually chasing leads is so last century. Specializing in creative finance, deal structuring, and making things unnecessarily efficient, he helps investors close more deals while doing less actual work. When he's not automating the real estate world, he’s probably pretending to work while staring at spreadsheets or convincing himself that buying another domain name is a good idea.
