The Point-of-Sale (POS) module on Mobile now includes the Product Catalog! This feature streamlines the checkout process by allowing users to select products and services directly from a catalog, eliminating the need for manual calculations. Available on the mobile app, this update is designed to enhance your mobile POS experience by providing a powerful and convenient tool for instant sales processing, making it beneficial for all businesses, regardless of niche.

Enhancements Implemented

  • New Design: A beautifully crafted screen with all your products available on a single page.

  • Variants: Easily select product variants and combinations.

  • Dynamic Pricing: Automatically update the final amount based on selected variants and quantities.

  • Cohesion with Keypad: Use the existing keypad screen to add custom items alongside catalog items.

How It Works

  1. Open the Mobile App: Ensure your preferred subaccount is selected.

  2. Navigate to POS: Click the third icon (middle) on the bottom navigation bar.

  3. Switch to Catalog Tab: View all created products for the subaccount.

  4. Select a Product: Choose a product to reveal variants, pricing models, and a quantity counter.

  1. Add to Checkout: Select the variant combination, choose the quantity, and click "Add."

  1. Customize Further: For different variant combinations, click the "+" button and choose "New Customization."

  2. Checkout: After adding the products, proceed to the checkout page to accept payment via tap to pay.

Bonus Tip: You can manually enter the amount from the keypad screen and select products from the product catalog simultaneously. The amount will update automatically.

Notes

  • Add Tax: Taxes linked to a product are automatically accounted for in the Product Catalog. The final amount includes all relevant taxes.

  • Attach Notes to Items: Label products as required when making a sale, especially useful for custom items added from the keypad screen.

  • Integration with Invoices: The product catalog will soon integrate with the invoice feature, allowing businesses to build and broadcast invoices seamlessly.

Use Cases

  • Retail Stores: Quickly add products and their variants during checkout, ensuring accurate billing and a streamlined customer experience.

  • Food and Beverage: Easily manage menu items, including different sizes and customizations, directly from the catalog.

  • Service-Based Businesses: Offer multiple service packages or variants and add them to the checkout with dynamic pricing adjustments.

  • Pop-Up Shops and Events: Efficiently handle sales on the go with a comprehensive product catalog that includes all available items and their variations.
